Tomoye Signs Major US-Army Contract

Battle Command Knowledge System, A US Army Program, has secured a second software deal with Tomoye. This brings the total number of Battle Command Knowledge System community-of-practice users to 156,000, with the possibility of increasing substantially every year over the next three years. Director of Sales at Tomoye, John Martin, states “Tomoye has worked closely with many of the Army's professional forums over the past 3 ½ years to ensure we can support the unique environments and requirements that these forums operate. We are extremely pleased that the Battle Command Knowledge System has been so successful and the demand from the soldiers has been so high. The US Battle Command Knowledge System (BCKS) has purchased 100,000 seats from Tomoye Corporation to expand its professional forums. Tomoye Corporation is the US Army’s supplier of choice for communities-of-practice software. BCKS uses this software to improve military performance on the battlefield. Professional forums help soldiers make quick, informed decisions on the front lines. New commanders can access the accumulated knowledge of experienced veterans throughout these forums.
